Drop off Procedure

 
You will be asked to arrive one hour prior to the start of your procedure.  Please follow your surgeon's directions.  General guidelines include:
 
-Nothing to eat or drink after midnight the night before
-Take any prescribed medications as directed by your surgeon
-Wash with chlorhexidine/Hibiclens as directed by your surgeon
-Avoid certain foods/medications as directed by your surgeon
 
Please enter using the door on Richardson Street.  Follow signs to Massachusetts Surgery Center located on the 2nd floor.  Please ring the electronic doorbell to Suite 202.  Someone will let you inside and get you checked in.  
 
***PLEASE NOTE:  No visitors are allowed into the surgical facility.  The only exception are legal guardians who are accompanying a minor.  Anyone coming with you will be asked to drop you off at the 2nd floor door and will receive a phonecall when you are ready for discharge.
 
 

 

 

 

Pickup Procedure

 

 

 
Your ride will be called once your procedure is finished to coordinate your pickup.  Once you meet the discharge criteria, you will be escorted to the street level on Richardson street.  We usually ask that your ride pull up to the door on Richardson street and put their hazard lights on.  This will ensure a safe and timely transition into the vehicle.
